Role & responsibilities

Conduct internal audits across departments to ensure compliance with financial and operational procedures.

Review and analyze accounting records, reports, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.

Assess risk management processes, internal control systems, and governance frameworks.

Identify control weaknesses, recommend improvements, and follow up on implementation.

Ensure compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, observations, and actionable recommendations.

Liaise with external auditors during statutory audits and assist in audit documentation.

Conduct surprise audits and spot checks as required.

Collaborate with the finance and compliance teams to improve audit procedures and controls.

Monitor corrective actions taken by departments in response to audit findings.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements:

Education: M.Com (Master of Commerce) / ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

Experience: 0-2 years in auditing or a similar finance role (internal or external audit)

Knowledge:

Good understanding of auditing standards, internal controls, risk management, and accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS)

Proficiency in Tally, ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software

Excellent communication skills and ability to work confidently in a team. Preferred Certifications:

ACCA Affiliate or Member

Additional certifications in internal auditing (e.g., CIA - Certified Internal Auditor) would be an advantage
