The IT Auditor position offers qualified candidates an opportunity to work in a diverse team to enhance their leadership, presentation, project management, problem-solving, critical thinking, investigation, and collaboration skills.
The role provides exposure to the commercial units, operations, compliance, and resource groups and to the different regions of the world. Analytical, accounting, financial reporting, internal control, information technology, risk assessment, and report writing skills are used and developed in the role.
As an IT Auditor, you will be involved in audit projects from start to finish, which include identifying and assessing project risks and controls, developing audit programs, performing audit work, and reporting agreed-upon results to management and other stakeholders.
Reviewing Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs) to ensure IT processes and systems comply with industry best practices and applicable regulations and standards.
Reviewing Information Technology Application Controls (ITACs) to verify that appropriate controls (e.g., security, integration, automated functionality) are in place for new and existing information systems, including applications and infrastructure.
