Your role.




Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Technical Responsibilities



Perform all phases of an audit, including planning and risk identification, internal control review and testing, substantive audit procedures, engagement wrap up, and financial statement preparation/review Perform other attest services including compilations and reviews Research and conclude on various accounting and audit issues in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) Generate ideas for accounting process improvements and best practices for our clients

Participate in internal networking events, collaborate and work directly with other internal colleagues and external client staff. Contribute to business expansion efforts including proposal development (scoping, budget, etc.) Supervise and develop a team of 1-2 audit staff on each engagement

Participate in periodic industry and service line training programs which focus on development of core competencies to facilitate your growth at the firm Opportunities to be involved in various internal practice initiatives

The qualifications and experience

CA required (CPA is an added advantage)
2-5 years recent experience in public accounting, specialization with the benefit plan industry is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and audit software Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IND AS, or IFRS accounting standards and knowledge of review, compilation, and auditing standards.

Position requires some Saturday work hours from time to time during busy seasons.
