Job Description

Inventory Verification & Stock Audit (Primary Focus - 60% of Role):

Perform

physical inventory verification

at client locations across sectors (retail, manufacturing, trading, etc.) Conduct

stock audits

, reconcile physical counts with book stock, and identify discrepancies Analyze

inventory movement, valuation, and control systems

Verify

compliance with internal controls

related to inventory management Prepare

stock audit reports

, working papers, and coordinate with client teams for clarifications Conduct

cycle counts, surprise audits

, and warehouse walkthroughs Assist in

developing checklists

and improving inventory verification procedures

Audit & Assurance:

Assist in

Statutory, Tax, and GST Audits

for various clients Draft and finalize

audit working papers

and documentation Help in

preparing financial statements

in accordance with Schedule III of the Companies Act Liaise with clients for

audit data collection and clarifications

Compliance & Returns:

Assist in

filing GST returns

(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) with reconciliations Prepare and file

TDS returns

, support in 26AS reconciliation Perform basic

tax computations

using tools like Winman

Accounting Support:

Review and record transactions in

Tally Prime and Zoho Books

Use

Excel

for reconciliations, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis Help maintain

client books of accounts

, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Required Skills:

Strong experience in

physical stock verification and reporting

Proficiency in

Tally Prime, Zoho Books, and Winman

Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reconciliation) Good understanding of

inventory accounting, GST, and TDS rules

Excellent

documentation, reporting, and communication

skills

Educational Qualifications:

CA IPCC / CA Inter cleared

(B.Com/M.Com is a plus)

Additional Requirements:

Prior experience in a

CA firm handling stock audits and multiple clients

Detail-oriented, methodical, and

comfortable with field work

Ability to

travel locally

for physical verification assignments Tech-savvy and eager to learn in the fields of

audit, compliance, and inventory controls

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
