Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple audit engagements in

Not-for-Profit (NFP)

,

Employee Benefit Plan (EBP)

, and

Single Audit

sectors. Plan, execute, and review audit work, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and relevant regulatory standards (AICPA, DOL, OMB). Oversee engagement budgeting, scheduling, and staff allocation to ensure timely completion. Supervise and mentor audit seniors and staff, providing technical guidance and performance feedback. Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports for technical accuracy and completeness. Manage and strengthen client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and accounting/auditing standards. Participate in internal training, quality control initiatives, and process improvement activities. Support firm growth through business development activities, proposal assistance, and networking.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field. Active

CPA license

Experience:

Minimum 2+

years supervisory/senior role

audits. Experience in managing multiple concurrent engagements and teams.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and relevant OMB Uniform Guidance standards. Familiarity with audit software (e.g., OnPoint, CCH Axcess, CaseWare, Thomson Reuters, or similar). Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.

Soft Skills:

Excellent project management and leadership capabilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communicator with both clients and internal teams. Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
