Key responsibilities

Branch and department audits:

Conduct periodic inspections and audits of various branches and departments, which is a core part of the job.

Physical and financial verification:

Physically verify assets like gold, and verify day-to-day transactions, financial records, and bank reconciliation statements.

Compliance and control:

Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls (such as joint custody of cash and gold), and regulatory requirements.

Reporting:

Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, including root cause analysis and recommendations, to present to top management.

Process improvement:

Provide ideas for enhancing process efficiency and quality based on audit reviews.

Follow-up:

Monitor and follow up on the implementation of recommendations made during audits.

Travel:

The job involves significant travel to different branches.

Advantage :
