Audit manager for our CFO firm. The Audit Manager leads and manages audit and assurance engagements for multiple client organizations. The role is responsible for planning audits, supervising audit teams, ensuring compliance with statutory and professional standards, and delivering high-quality audit reports. The Audit Manager works closely with clients, senior management, and partners to provide value-driven audit and risk advisory services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute internal, statutory, tax, and compliance audits.
Lead and supervise audit teams; allocate work and review deliverables.
Develop audit plans, scopes, timelines, and risk assessment frameworks.
Review books of accounts, financial statements, and key reconciliations.
Evaluate internal controls, risk management systems, and compliance processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, audit standards, and laws.
Identify audit observations, control gaps, and process improvements.
Prepare and review audit reports, management letters, and presentations.
Act as primary point of contact with clients for audit-related matters.
Support CFO advisory assignments such as process improvement and compliance structuring.
Guide, mentor, and train audit staff and trainees.
Ensure confidentiality, ethics, and professional standards across engagements.
Requirements of Candidates
CA final/article preferred; CMA / ACCA with strong audit experience may be considered.
4-8 years of relevant audit experience, preferably in a CFO or professional services firm.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting standards, and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience in internal audit, statutory audit, and risk assessment.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP) and advanced Excel.
Strong leadership, review, and client-handling skills.
Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing abilities.
Ability to manage multiple clients and meet strict deadlines.
