Job Title:Auditor - Statutory Audit (Banking Sector) with IND AS Expertise

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Auditor with experience in statutory audits of banks and strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS). The role involves auditing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (RBI, SEBI), and providing insights on IND AS implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct statutory audits of banks in compliance with IND AS and RBI/SEBI regulations.

- Ensure accurate financial reporting under IND AS (e.g., IND AS 109, 115, 116).

- Assess internal controls and risk management frameworks.

- Review financial statements and advise on compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Provide guidance on IND AS adoption and complex banking transactions.

- Manage audit teams and mentor junior staff.

- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.

- 3-5 years of experience in statutory auditing, preferably in the banking sector.

- Strong knowledge of IND AS and banking operations.

- Proficiency in audit tools and MS Office.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

- Experience with Big 4 or large audit firms.

- Knowledge of RBI guidelines.
