About the Role
We are looking for a
proactive and detail-oriented Audit Executive
to join our dynamic Operations & Compliance team. This role involves conducting regular
stock and process audits
across Dawaa Dost stores and warehouses to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground -- ensuring our operations remain strong, transparent, and audit-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct
physical stock audits
at stores and warehouses as per the audit schedule.
Verify
stock records, inventory movements, and system data
for accuracy and consistency.
Identify
discrepancies, losses, or non-compliances
and document findings with clear evidence.
Work closely with Store Managers and Operations teams to
rectify variances and strengthen controls
.
Prepare detailed
audit reports
and present findings to the Audit and Finance teams.
Evaluate adherence to
SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
and suggest process improvements.
Ensure all audit activities comply with internal policies, statutory regulations, and company standards.
Support
surprise checks, spot verifications, and random audits
as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity throughout the audit process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
.
1-3 years of experience in
audit, inventory management, or retail operations
(preferably in FMCG or Pharma).
Strong knowledge of
MS Excel and audit documentation tools
.
Willingness to travel frequently to store and warehouse locations.
Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
Bonus Skills (A Plus for Your Application)
Experience with
ERP or POS systems
(e.g., Zoho, Tally, or SAP).
Understanding of
pharmacy or retail compliance standards
.
Prior exposure to
process audits, loss prevention, or internal control systems
.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously.
