Jewellery Audit Executive

Job Summary

The Jewellery Audit Executive is responsible for conducting regular audits of jewellery inventory, ensuring accuracy of stock records, monitoring compliance with company policies, and identifying discrepancies in gold, diamond, and gemstone stock. The role supports loss prevention, internal controls, and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Audit

Conduct periodic physical verification of gold, diamond, silver, and gemstone jewellery Match physical stock with system records and tag details Verify purity, weight, and stone details as per records Identify shortages, excesses, or mismatches and report findings

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare detailed audit reports and discrepancy statements Maintain audit working papers and supporting documents Coordinate with accounts, stores, and sales teams for clarifications Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and annual audits

Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and SOPs Monitor movement of jewellery between showroom, vault, workshop, and exhibitions Verify approvals for stock transfers, repairs, and returns Support implementation of corrective actions post-audit

Process Improvement

Suggest improvements in inventory handling and control processes Assist in strengthening loss-prevention mechanisms Support management during internal and external audits
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field

Freshers are welcome; training will be provided

Basic understanding of accounting and inventory concepts

Experience

0-3 years of experience

Prior internship or exposure to jewellery/accounts is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: Up to ₹16,557.14 per month
