Job Title: Audit Executive - Stock/Inventory Audit Department: Internal Audit

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct stock and inventory audits across locations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Perform physical stock counts, inventory reconciliation, and audit of inventory processes to detect discrepancies or inefficiencies.
Review and evaluate inventory systems, internal controls, and risk management procedures related to stock management.
Document and report audit findings, including discrepancies, process weaknesses, or areas of concern, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
Analyze inventory transactions and stock movements to ensure proper documentation and adherence to accounting principles.
Assist in identifying inventory shrinkage and propose corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and reduce losses.
Prepare and review audit reports, detailing audit methodology, findings, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, finance, supply chain) to ensure proper inventory handling and documentation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal audit policies.
Stay updated on best practices, industry standards, and relevant accounting and auditing standards for inventory management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
1-3 years' experience in stock or inventory auditing, accounting, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and audit processes.
Familiarity with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal controls related to inventory.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and inventory management software.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to analyze data.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
High level of integrity and ethical standards.
