As a Senior Audit Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the audit team in conducting financial examinations and assessments of clients' accounts and records. Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of audit procedures under the guidance of senior auditors.
Review and analyze financial statements, invoices, and other accounting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Perform tests of controls and substantive testing to verify the integrity of financial information.
Document audit findings, discrepancies, and recommendations for improvements in audit work papers.
Collaborate with team members to discuss audit findings and ensure consistency in reporting.
Assist in preparing audit reports and presentations for clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to obtain necessary information and clarify audit-related queries.
Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and quality in audit engagements.
Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance audit skills and knowledge.
Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment and adhere to professional ethics and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
