Bolla is a premier Wholesale and Retail Motor Fuel (MF) supplier in Metro New York and New Jersey areas. In addition, it also has a Transport department that hauls Motor Fuel in both New York and New Jersey areas.
Currently it operates close to 200 Retail Gas Stations with Convenience Stores (C-Stores) and supply MF to another 100 Wholesale Dealers with over a Billion dollars in revenues and employs over 1200 Team Members.
Besides the Motor Fuel business, Bolla is also into construction activity as well. We build Ultra-Modern and upscale Gas Stations with C-Stores.
Bolla partners with major food chains like Burger King, Tim Horton, Pizza Hut, and Subway.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a
detail-oriented Audit Executive
to join our Audit & Compliance team. The role involves
daily monitoring, reconciliations, and validation of retail site transactions
including fuel, C-Store, lotto, and restaurant sales. The Audit Executive will ensure accuracy of site financials, compliance with company policies, and support profitability tracking through daily P&L reviews.
Job Summary
The Accounts & Audit Executive is responsible for accurate and timely entry, verification, and reconciliation of daily operational and financial data across multiple sites. The role involves working closely with Team Leads, Station Managers, and Territory Managers to maintain data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and generate reports.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily checks of site paperwork and accurately enter data into company ERP/software systems.
Update daily purchase information to facilitate reporting and reconciliation processes.
Record and update department-wise Sales, Purchases, and Collections for each site on a daily basis, along with C-Store Purchase Invoices.
Handle auditing tasks for 8 to 10 sites per day and process 3 to 4 vendor statements per month.
Review data entries against POS reports before closing shifts to ensure accuracy.
Conduct inventory reconciliation by comparing physical stock with system records at the end of each shift.
Maintain daily reconciliation records in Excel, summarizing all sites for consolidated reporting.
At month-end, perform a detailed verification of every line item against available portal information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Report daily progress, discrepancies, and issues to the concerned Team Leads.
Collaborate with Station Managers or Territory Managers for issue resolution as directed by the Team Lead.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies and reporting timelines.
Key Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of ERP/Accounting and Data Management systems.
Strong understanding of inventory management and reconciliation processes.
Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Effective communication skills for coordination across teams.
Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritize tasks effectively.
Analytical skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Candidates with a Diploma in Accounting/Finance and relevant experience may also be considered.
Familiarity with ERP/Accounting software is preferred.
