We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Audiologist & Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs. This role involves providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for children and adults with speech, language, communication, swallowing, and hearing disorders. The position also includes supporting special school settings and community-based initiatives in alignment with the NGO's vision of inclusive, accessible rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assessment and Evaluation
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, swallowing, and hearing assessments for children and adults with diverse needs.
Utilize standardized tests and audiological equipment (otoscopy, tympanometry, pure tone audiometry, etc.) to identify disorders.
Prepare diagnostic reports and develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, family goals, and best practices.
2. Therapeutic Interventions
Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy for:
o Children: e.g., Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Receptive-Expressive Language Delay, Learning Disability, Intellectual Disability, Global Developmental Delay, Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods where needed.
3. Audiological Management
Conduct hearing screenings, diagnostic audiology, and basic rehabilitation counselling.
Provide recommendations and referrals for hearing aid fitting, assistive listening devices, and other interventions.
Conduct Hearing assessment and hearing aid programming & distribution camps
4. Family and Caregiver Support
Educate and empower parents/caregivers with strategies for communication development at home.
Provide training, counselling, and resources to address practical and emotional challenges.
5. Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team (special educators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists & psychologists).
Participate in case conferences, IRP meetings, and community outreach programs to ensure holistic care and inclusive practices.
6. Program Development and Community Outreach
Contribute to program planning, awareness initiatives, and capacity-building activities in both institutional and community-based rehabilitation settings.
Stay updated with research and best practices in audiology, speech-language pathology, and early intervention.
7. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, therapy plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Prepare reports for families, the team, and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Education: BASLP from an RCI-recognized institution.
Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in pediatric or adult rehabilitation settings are welcome to apply.
Licensure: RCI registration (or eligibility).
Skills & Competencies
Strong clinical skills in speech-language assessment, audiology services, and therapeutic interventions.
Empathy, patience, and a family-centered approach to care.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Creativity in developing individualized treatment plans and implementing AAC.
Proficiency in documentation and basic use of electronic records.

Clinical and rehabilitation center with an integrated school support.

Requirements
Willing to travel to community for the hearing aids camps based on the requirements
