About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Audio Test Automation Engineer to join our client's engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test frameworks for validating audio features across multiple platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Python automation, audio testing methodologies, and Linux audio systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts for audio validation and performance.

• Automate playback, recording, and waveform analysis across platforms.

• Work with tools like Audacity, and debug using Linux audio architecture (ALSA).

• Analyze audio wave data and identify quality issues.

• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve audio testing coverage and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in audio testing and test automation.

• Strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience with automation frameworks.

• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and version control (Git).

• Experience with audio analysis tools, codecs, and signal processing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Exposure to AI/ML-based audio processing or test automation is a plus.
