As an Audio Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring top-notch sound quality during podcast recordings and video shoots. You'll apply your knowledge of sound recording principles and use industry-standard software to enhance audio quality in post-production. Collaborating closely with producers and directors, you'll help meet project deadlines by maintaining and organizing audio equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and staying updated on sound technology trends. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a sound recordist during podcast recordings and video shoots, ensuring clear and high-quality audio capture.
Assist in audio processing tasks to enhance sound quality in post-production using industry-standard software.
Support the maintenance, organization, and inventory management of audio devices and equipment.
Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to meet project audio requirements and deadlines.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio equipment during recordings and post-production.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in sound technology and production techniques.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Film Production, or a related field, or recent graduate.
Basic understanding of sound recording principles and techniques, including microphone placement and signal flow.
Familiarity with audio processing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition) and audio plug-ins.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain and track inventory of audio equipment.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and contribute to creative projects.
