The ATW Stringer Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the

automatic stringer machine

used to weld solar cells together to form a solar module. This role requires attention to detail, technical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

+ Operate the ATW stringer machine to perform precise tabbing and welding of solar cells.
+ Set up the machine according to the specifications for different solar module types.

Quality Control:

+ Monitor the welding process to ensure consistent quality and adherence to production standards.
+ Inspect solar cells for defects such as misalignment, poor welding, or damaged cells.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

+ Perform routine maintenance to keep the machine in optimal working condition.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or quality issues promptly.

Material Handling:

+ Load and unload solar cells and ribbons into the machine as per production requirements.
+ Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage.

Process Monitoring:

+ Track production metrics, including output rates, defect rates, and machine performance.
+ Report any deviations or issues to the shift supervisor or maintenance team.

Safety Compliance:

+ Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery to prevent accidents or injuries.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.

Documentation:

+ Maintain records of machine performance, production outputs, and quality checks.
+ Document any issues, maintenance activities, or process changes.

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields. Basic understanding of solar module manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
