The Hospital Attender at Ayursiha Hospital is responsible for providing essential support services to ensure smooth hospital operations and patient comfort. The role includes assisting patients, supporting medical and nursing staff, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensuring timely movement of patients and materials within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with mobility, including helping them move to and from rooms, treatment areas, therapy units, and diagnostic sections.
Support nursing and medical staff during patient care activities as instructed.
Ensure patient rooms, wards, and common areas are kept clean, orderly, and hygienic.
Assist in bed preparation, linen changing, and maintaining patient comfort.
Transport medical equipment, files, medicines, samples, and other materials between departments as required.
Help patients and their attendants with basic needs while maintaining dignity and privacy.
Follow hospital infection control policies and safety guidelines strictly.
Assist during emergency situations as directed by hospital staff.
Support admission, discharge, and room shifting processes.
Report any patient concerns, safety issues, or unusual observations to the nursing or supervisory staff.
Ensure proper waste disposal as per hospital biomedical waste management rules.
Perform any additional duties assigned by hospital management or supervisors.

Basic understanding of hospital hygiene and patient care

Qualifications
Minimum basic education (reading and writing ability preferred)
