ob Title: ATM Service Engineer Job Overview: An ATM Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). The role involves ensuring ATMs are functioning smoothly, diagnosing technical problems, and providing timely service support to minimize downtime and enhance customer satisfaction. --- Key Responsibilities: Installation, configuration, and testing of ATMs at client locations. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ATMs. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues. Replace or repair defective ATM parts (cash dispensers, card readers, printers, etc.). Coordinate with vendors and banks for service-related issues. Ensure proper cash loading support and reconciliation when required. Maintain service logs, daily reports, and documentation of work performed. Provide on-call technical support in case of urgent breakdowns. Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols while handling ATMs. --- Qualifications & Skills: Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems. Prior experience in ATM servicing / field engineering preferred (Freshers can also apply in some roles). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel to different client locations. Good communication and customer handling skills. --- Work Environment: Field-based role requiring travel to ATM sites. Work may involve irregular hours, including weekends/holidays for urgent support.
