Key Responsibilities of an ATM Service Engineer
1. ATM Installation & Setup
Install and configure new ATMs, kiosks, and related equipment.
Ensure proper network connectivity and power supply.
2. Routine Maintenance
Perform regular preventive maintenance checks.
Replace worn-out parts such as card readers, keypads, rollers, or dispensers.
Ensure machines are clean and operational.
3. Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnose hardware/software issues in ATMs.
Resolve cash dispenser jams, card reader errors, or printer malfunctions.
Coordinate with technical support teams for major issues.
4. Cash Handling Support
Assist in cash loading, balancing, and reconciliation (if required by employer).
Ensure secure handling of ATM vaults.
5. Software & Network Support
Update ATM software/firmware as per bank/vendor requirements.
Ensure ATM is connected to the server and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
6. Customer Service & Reporting
Respond promptly to ATM downtime complaints.
Maintain detailed service and maintenance reports.
Coordinate with banks, vendors, and field teams to minimize downtime.
7. Security & Compliance
Follow safety and security protocols during service.
Ensure compliance with RBI/bank policies regarding ATM operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹15,001.00 per month
