ATM Service Engineer - Job Responsibilities

1. ATM Installation & Commissioning

Install new ATM machines at client sites.

Configure software, network, and connectivity.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Diagnose and repair hardware or software faults.

Fix issues like card jams, cash jams, printer errors, or communication failures.

Replace faulty parts such as card readers, sensors, and cash dispensers.

3. Cash Management Support

Coordinate with the cash replenishment team for refilling and balancing ATMs.

Verify cash levels and reconcile discrepancies.

4. Network & Connectivity

Ensure stable ATM connectivity through LAN, WAN, or GSM networks.

Coordinate with network teams to resolve downtime or link issues.

5. Software Updates & Security

Update ATM software, firmware, and security patches.

Ensure compliance with bank and RBI security standards.

6. Preventive Maintenance

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.

Maintain service logs and performance reports.

7. Customer Service & Reporting

Respond promptly to service calls from banks or clients.

Maintain records of service activities and submit daily or weekly reports.

Communicate effectively with bank officials and vendors.

8. Spare Parts & Tools Management

Maintain inventory of tools and spare parts.

Request replacements or repairs as needed.

Required Skills

Knowledge of ATM hardware (NCR, Diebold, Wincor, etc.)

Basic understanding of networking (LAN, IP, router, modem)

Familiar with Windows OS and ATM application software

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Willingness to travel and work on-site

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
