The Atlassian admin is responsible for designing, modifying, configuring, and implementing the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, ServiceDesk, Bitbucket Pipeline, and Atlassian Access) to fit the business requirements. The Atlassian admin will participate in the project management practices, enabling and supporting project managers in creating and modifying Jira and Confluence to meet their requirements. The Atlassian admin will support and participate in the DevOps process by configuring and managing the Atlassian suite to review, analyze, and deploy the codebase. The Atlassian admin will have extensive experience in Software Development Practices, including Source Control, Configuration Management, Unit Testing, and Object-Oriented Design patterns. What you will do:

  • Administer Atlassian SAAS, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket Pipeline, Atlassian Access, and SourceTree. Knowledge of other Atlassian products is a plus.
  • Manage day-to-day requests and projects related to Atlassian SAAS.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Gen AI tools, preferably Atlassian Rovo.
  • Jira script runner and shell script, including deployment scripts for codebases like Java, Node.js, and PHP .
  • Jira workflows, schemas, user permission schemas, issues schemas, custom fields, and boards.
  • Confluence workspace creation, permission schemas, macros, forms, and integrations.
  • Bitbucket repository and knowledge of Git.
  • Bitbucket pipeline creation and CI/CD implementation.
  • Must have experience working with a scrum team as a developer, scrum master, or scrum owner.
  • Responsible for researching and evaluating new features, technologies, and current trends to provide innovative ideas in support of both tactical and strategic development initiatives.
  • Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, allowing the individual to collaborate with both technical and non-technical business teams.
What makes you an ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of field experience or master's degree with 4-6 years of field experience
  • Atlassian Certified for one of the following: Jira Project Administrator, Managing Jira Projects for Cloud or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience as an Atlassian Developer
  • 5+ years of experience in Shell Script and Script runner for Jira
  • 5+ Jira Service Desk Management
  • 3+ years of experience with Atlassian Bitbucket, Bamboo, Linux hosted Atlassian environment
  • 1+ years of experience with Atlassian Bitbucket Pipeline
  • Experience migrating Jenkins to Bitbucket Pipeline migration
  • Experience migrating SVN to Bitbucket Pipeline migration
  • Knowledge of PL SQL and Non-PL SQL Oracle EBS object deployment preferred
