Description:

Reporting to the Team Leader, the ATE PLC Engineer will participate on a multidisciplinary team whose responsibilities include the design and development of software to test aerospace and defines products. The ATE PLC Engineer will be responsible for safety system design and development of high performance test systems for acceptance testing of various types of products. This role will be focused on the design and development of safety system architecture, Control circuit, wiring in automated test equipment for aerospace products and systems and interfacing multiple sub system. The ATE PLC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring setup, programming, testing, and implementation of control systems used for production automation and industrial equipment design. The ATE PLC Engineer should assist in following: + Understanding the Test rig safety needs and requirements
+ Interfacing multiple subsystems
+ Defining best suitable safety system architectures with PLC system
+ Hands on experience in PLC programming and control system.
+ Select suitable PLC controller and other safety modules
+ Hands on experience in dealing with PLC safety modules, limit switches and other safety arrangements, ADC/DAC cards, etc.
+ Experience is signal conditioning circuits, and cable harness designing
+ Managing ATE application lifecycles data
The ATE PLC Engineer should communicate technical issues through written, verbal and presentation media Interfaces with the team working on Mechanical, software/hardware for success of meeting project schedules

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering with First Class 3-5 years of exclusive experience in Safety System Design. Experience in Aerospace preferred. Good Knowledge on PLC programming Good knowledge on Electrical schematics using MS Visio, OrCAD. Good problem solving skills and hardware engineering practices Hands on experience on various test equipment like PLC, Limit switches, Door Switches, Oil carts, Motors & Drive stand etc. Knowledge in communications like Serial, Ethernet Good usage of tools like Version control, MS OFFICE Very Good Communication and Presentation Skills
