Assurance Risk & Internal Control Specialist

You will be working as Assurance Risk and Internal Control Specialist, reporting to Risk and Internal Controls Specialist for Finance Operational Service division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible to provide internal control services to business and GBS units in the form of internal control support and advice, performance of process walkthroughs and management testing

Your responsibilities

• Supporting in the design, development and maintenance of effective risk and control management practices
• Supporting process design enhancements to standardize processes and controls (in coordination with global process owners) to simplify and rationalize the control environment
• Supporting process reviews to identify sustainable control improvements
• Performing quality reviews to ensure high quality risk and control execution
• Gathering business insights to operational management to support achievement of business objectives
• Supporting the implementation of local or group wide methodology changes and training delivery
• Driving the remediation and deficiency assessment process and proactively work with the process and control owners to establish proper remediation plans
• Participating in global assurance, risk and internal controls initiatives and projects
• Assisting process and controlling owners in process walkthroughs

Your background

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration
• 0-2 years of experience in audit or internal control related areas
• Solid understanding of internal controls concepts, methodology and practices
• Service-oriented mindset and solid commitment to quality and continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills - both written and oral
• Courage to confront difficult issues with the appropriate response
