Manage logistics operations across all three companies under our group, with a preference for experience handling spice products and their specific logistics requirements.
System Optimization:
Implement process improvements to boost logistics efficiency and reduce operational costs, particularly within the context of spice production, packaging, and distribution.
Fleet Coordination:
Plan and allocate vehicle and driver schedules based on the daily logistics demands of spice transport.
Duty Roster Management:
Maintain a systematic duty roster for all drivers to ensure balanced workloads and availability, especially during peak spice dispatch seasons.
Vehicle Maintenance Monitoring:
Ensure vehicles used for spice transportation undergo regular maintenance and any emergency issues are addressed promptly.
Fuel Efficiency Control:
Monitor and control fuel usage to ensure cost-effective fleet operations, with sensitivity to long-distance spice logistics.
Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all vehicle documents, permits, and insurance are current and compliant with statutory regulations, particularly those relevant to food-grade and spice transportation.
Driver Training & Orientation:
Conduct regular sessions for drivers focusing on safety, updated traffic rules, and best practices in handling spice consignments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in logistics or transport coordination, preferably in the spices industry
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or logistics management software is a plus
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to dynamic operational needs
