Job brief:

We are seeking a hands-on

Engineering Manager

with expertise in

state-of-the-Art machining, CAD/CAM, precision assemblies and surface treatments

, along with end-to-end

project management capabilities

. This role will lead engineering deliverables from concept to delivery, ensuring QMS compliance and alignment with customer and regulatory standards in

nuclear and aerospace domains

.

Responsibilities:

Lead engineering functions for machining and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Manage end-to-end project lifecycle (initiation to closure) using PLM and project management tools like Gantt charts, risk registers, and resource planning.

Drive CAD/CAM programming (MasterCAM, AutoCAD), drawing releases, BOM creation, and configuration control.

Define and standardize process routings, operation sketches, tooling plans, and manufacturing documentation.

Guide process engineering for SS, Inconel, and exotic materials including surface treatments: zinc plating, hard chrome, SS passivation.

Collaborate with production, quality, and testing teams for assembly/test validation and issue resolution.

Interface with customers, auditors, and certification bodies for design and process approvals.

Ensure all engineering activities comply with AS9100, ISO9001 and nuclear QMS requirements.

Proven expertise in precision machining, high-complex assemblies, and testing protocols.

Strong in project planning, scheduling, stakeholder management, and documentation.

Familiarity with PLM systems and engineering change management.

Excellent team leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.

Education & Experience:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial (7-8 yrs exp) or Diploma (10-12 yrs exp).
