We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Technical Engineer to join our team. The Assistant Technical Engineer will support the Technical Engineer in various aspects of designing, implementing, and maintaining facade lighting systems. This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to contribute effectively to project teams.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in the facade lighting, electrical engineering, or architectural design field. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred). Knowledge of lighting systems, electrical components, and technical drawing tools. Familiarity with CAD software and other technical design tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in developing technical drawings, specifications, and schematics for lighting systems. Collaborate with the Technical Engineer and design team to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Review and interpret architectural plans and lighting design concepts. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate project planning and execution. Support the Technical Engineer in scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement of materials. Assist in monitoring project progress and milestones to ensure timely completion. Provide onsite support during the installation and commissioning of lighting systems. Assist in conducting quality inspections and tests to verify system functionality and performance. Document installation procedures and prepare reports as needed. Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to lighting systems. Conduct troubleshooting activities and propose solutions to maintain system integrity. Collaborate with the Technical Engineer and field teams to address technical challenges promptly. Maintain accurate records of project activities, specifications, and documentation. Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documentation. Ensure documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address technical inquiries and concerns. Provide technical assistance and support during client meetings and presentations. * Uphold professional standards and promote positive client relationships.
