The Asst Area Sales Manager (ASM) - Montra is responsible for driving sales, managing dealer/distributor networks, and ensuring market growth of Montra products in the assigned territory. The role involves achieving sales targets, developing strong trade relationships, and ensuring brand visibility in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Montra products in the assigned area.
Develop and manage dealer/distributor network; ensure product availability and timely supply.
Drive retail sales through channel partners, trade schemes, and promotional activities.
Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activity, dealer performance, and market trends.
Train and motivate dealer sales staff on Montra product features, USPs, and selling techniques.
Coordinate with the Marketing team for promotional campaigns, events, and activations.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy credit discipline with channel partners.
Prepare and submit periodic MIS reports on sales, targets, and achievements.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of channel sales, preferably in bicycles, e-bikes, or automobile industry.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to lead and motivate dealer sales teams.
Target-driven, with strong problem-solving and market analysis abilities.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate (MBA preferred) with 4-7 years of experience in
channel sales/business development

Experience in
bicycle, automotive
will be an added advantage.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
