We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Assistant Project Manager
to support the planning, coordination, and execution of interior / construction projects. The role involves site coordination, vendor management, quality control, and ensuring timely project delivery as per company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing projects from initiation to handover
Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progress as per schedule
Track material requirements, deliveries, and inventory at site
Ensure quality standards and safety norms are followed at all times
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and share updates with management
Handle client coordination and support in resolving site-level issues
Assist in billing verification, measurements, and documentation
Requirements & Qualifications
BE / BTech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field
1-5 years of experience in construction or interior project execution
Good knowledge of site operations, drawings, and basic project planning
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office (knowledge of project tools is a plus)
Preferred Skills
Experience in residential interior projects
Familiarity with Chennai local vendors and sites (preferred)
Willingness to travel to project sites within the city
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
