Roles & Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Professor of Computer Science, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology by educating and inspiring the next generation of computer scientists

Your expertise in computer science, passion for teaching, and commitment to research will contribute to the academic and intellectual growth of our students

You will engage in designing and delivering courses, conducting research projects, and providing mentorship to students pursuing careers in technology

Responsibilities: Teaching Excellence: Design and deliver undergraduate and/or graduate-level computer science courses that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation

Course Development: Develop course syllabi, assignments, projects, and assessments that align with academic standards and industry trends

Student Mentorship: Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their technical and professional growth in the field of computer science

Research Contributions: Engage in cutting-edge research in computer science, contributing to scholarly publications, conferences, and collaborative projects

Curriculum Enhancement: Contribute to the development and evolution of computer science curricula, incorporating emerging technologies and methodologies

Innovative Instruction: Utilize modern teaching methods, tools, and technologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences

Scholarly Engagement: Participate in academic conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on developments in computer science

Service and Committees: Participate in departmental and university committees, contributing to academic planning and institutional initiatives

Student Projects: Oversee student research projects, capstone projects, and collaborative initiatives that bridge academia and industry

Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow faculty members on interdisciplinary projects and industry partnerships
