:

1.To plan "content beyond syllabus" on the courses being handled and include as part of the lesson plan. Monitor the attendance of the students for the courses being handled.

2. The students' Log Book must be regularly updated and put up for inspection by HOD / Dean as the case may be. Ensure that portions are completed for each test (and to plan extra classes if required)

3. The faculty should go to the class at least five minutes early. The faculty should engage the full class / lab and should not leave the class early.

4. The faculty should interact with the Class Coordinator or Counsellor and inform him about the habitual absentees, academically weak students, objectionable behaviour etc.

5. Preparation of the laboratory manuals (for the courses allotted by the HOD) Verification of the laboratory observation note, procedures followed, readings taken, calculations/ graphs and approval of laboratory records

6. It is mandatory on the part of the staff members to be familiar with the AICTE /UGC current regulations with regard to academic activities, award of internal marks, maintenance of records and attendance.
