Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and workflow on the production floor, including resource allocation, scheduling, and process optimization.

Ensure the production of diamond and gold jewellery meets strict quality control standards and adheres to deadlines.

Implement and maintain safety and compliance guidelines specific to precious metals and gemstones.

Coordinate with design, merchandising, and planning teams to align manufacturing output with market demand.

Manage vendor relationships (for materials and outsourced processes), inventory, and logistics to support efficient supply chains.

Train, supervise, and support production staff to enhance performance and skill level.

Lead initiatives for cost reduction, waste minimization, and process improvement across all manufacturing stages, such as casting, stone setting, polishing, and finishing.

Maintain accurate records for all production activities and communicate progress and risk factors to leadership teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 5 years' direct experience in diamond and gold jewellery manufacturing; total 10+ years in production management preferred.

Deep practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, including casting, setting, polishing, finishing, and CNC operations.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field; advanced technical proficiency and ability to interpret jewellery design drawings.

Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Excellent communication skills and familiarity with relevant documentation, safety, and regulatory standards.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
