We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing supply chain activities. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, and expertise in lean manufacturing principles. The Assistant Production Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive plant performance.
About the Role:
Production Support :
Assist the Production Manager in planning and monitoring daily garment production activities
Line Coordination :
Support coordination of stitching, finishing, and packing lines to achieve production targets
Workforce Supervision :
Help in allocating manpower and monitoring operator efficiency on the production floor
Quality Monitoring :
Ensure production follows approved quality standards and buyer requirements
Process Control :
Identify production issues, delays, or bottlenecks and report to the Production Manager
Production Reporting :
Maintain daily production reports, efficiency records, and line output data
Compliance & Safety :
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and factory compliance norms
Delivery Support :
Assist in meeting shipment schedules through proper planning and coordination
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
Any Graduate .
Skills:
Strong observation skills and high attention to detail.
Mindset:
A proactive learner with a passion for the apparel industry.
Language:
Basic communication skills (Tamil is essential; English is an advantage).
