Merchandiser

to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

Product Development & Sourcing

: Work closely with the design and production teams to develop new collections for woven women's and kids' garments, ensuring high-quality production and timely delivery.

Sampling & Approval

: Coordinate the creation of product samples, ensuring they meet client requirements, quality standards, and design approvals before moving to bulk production.

Order Coordination

: Manage orders from clients, tracking them from placement to shipment, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any production-related concerns.

Vendor Liaison

: Develop and maintain relationships with fabric suppliers and other vendors, ensuring quality raw materials are sourced on time for garment production.

Production Monitoring

: Oversee production schedules for women's and kids' garments, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and capacity planning.

Costing & Pricing

: Assist in preparing pricing and costing for new products, ensuring that margins are maintained while being competitive in the market.

Quality Control

: Supervise quality checks at various stages of the production process to ensure garments meet both internal standards and client expectations.
Key Requirements:

Experience

: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in garment merchandising, preferably in

woven women's and kids' apparel

.

Industry Knowledge

: Familiarity with garment production processes, fabric sourcing, and quality control specific to woven garments.

Communication Skills

: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and knowledge of ERP software is a plus.

Educational Qualifications

: A degree or diploma in

Fashion Design

,

Apparel Merchandising

,

Textile Engineering

, or related fields.

Attention to Detail

: Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of

woven fabrics

, garment construction, and finishing techniques. Experience in managing

export orders

and working with international clients. Familiarity with sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices.
