We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager - PPC to join our operations team. The role will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely deliveries, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute production plans based on customer orders and forecasts.
Prepare and monitor daily/weekly/monthly production schedules.
Ensure material availability by coordinating with procurement and stores.
Track WIP, machine utilization, and manpower allocation.
Identify bottlenecks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with cross-functional teams (Design, Sales, QA, Dispatch) for smooth execution.
Generate and present MIS reports on production performance.
Qualification & Skills:
BE/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering.
5-7 years in Production Planning & Control (preferably racks, shelves, or sheet metal fabrication).
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems & advanced Excel.
Knowledge of fabrication, welding, powder coating & assembly processes.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and team management skills.
Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement tools.
