Technical skills : -
Very Strong knowledge of Procurement of HT / LT Motor, Instrument Panels, Other Electrical Component and Control & Instrumentation components.
Should be able to do the detailed Costing of Electrical Components and should do the rate negotiation effectively.
Candidates having experience in Thermal Power Plan Equipment / EPC Projects will be preferred.
New Supplier identification and development.
Conversant with MM Module of SAP ERP packages.
Should be able to drive Cost Reduction initiatives & should have good negotiation skills.
Fair understanding of Indian and Intenational codes and standards related to Electrical Items.
Well conversant with Commercial terms and conditions and Cash Flow.
Soft skills:-
Should be able to collate information and be capable of analysis of data to ensure appropriate material planning
Ability to develop relationships with client and vendor.
Convincing and influencing skills
Team work
Administrative skills :-
Planning own schedules and timely reporting to seniors and other concerned.
Should be able to handle suppliers and expedite supplies while maintaining the quality requirements
