We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our Finance team as a Asst. Manager/Manager - FinOps (e-commerce). This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end finance operations, reviewing finance data, and driving strong operational controls. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in team handling, deep expertise in reconciliations, and the ability to support audits through accurate data preparation and documentation.

Key Responsibilities



Manage end-to-end finance operations for e-commerce transactions, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution and timely closures. Review finance data (revenue, settlements, refunds/returns, commissions, payment gateway reports) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and control compliance. Lead reconciliations on large datasets across multiple sources (system vs. payment gateway vs. bank vs. Tally/ERP vs. brand statements) and drive variance closure with clear root-cause analysis. Own revenue and settlement validation, ensuring correct recognition and accounting entries in coordination with the accounting team. Prepare brand/customer/ledger reconciliations and, ensure alignment between operational reports and books of accounts. Supervise and allocate work within the FinOps team, review outputs, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to timelines/SLAs. Act as the SPOC for finance operational queries from internal teams and external stakeholders/brands, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation. Support the audit function by preparing reconciliation packs, schedules, supporting documents, and responding to audit queries (internal/statutory). Strengthen process controls and SOPs--identify gaps, recommend improvements, and implement checks to reduce leakage and errors. Prepare and assist in CXO-level reporting, including weekly/monthly dashboards and executive summaries on revenue, settlements, reconciliation status, aging/open items, exceptions, risks, and action trackers; support presentations and follow-ups with senior leadership for closure.

Minimum Qualifications



5+ years of relevant experience

in the e-commerce industry, spanning

B2C, B2B, D2C, and Marketplace

sectors. Educational background: Commerce graduate & MBA /CA.

Proficiency in MS Excel

and

Tally Prime

is essential.

Familiarity with SAP

will be an added advantage. Experience with

SQL, Looker / Data Studio, Tableau, Gecko Board

, and managing complex spreadsheets will be an added benefit. Strong

analytical and presentation skills

for communicating insights to senior leadership. Solid

business acumen, problem-solving ability
