Role Overview



We are looking for a customer-centric and sales-driven

Assistant Manager

to support the day-to-day operations of a

premium optical showroom

. The role involves team supervision, high-end customer service, sales growth, inventory control, and ensuring an exceptional luxury retail experience.

Key Responsibilities Showroom Operations



Assist the Store Manager in daily showroom operations Ensure the showroom ambience, displays, and visual merchandising meet premium brand standards Handle opening and closing procedures and ensure SOP compliance Monitor cleanliness, product placement, and overall presentation

Sales & Customer Experience



Deliver personalized consultations for premium eyewear, lenses, and accessories Drive sales targets, conversion ratios, and average billing value Handle high-value customers with a luxury service mindset Manage customer queries, complaints, and after-sales service

Team Management



Supervise, motivate, and train sales consultants and opticians Allocate daily tasks and monitor staff performance Ensure grooming, etiquette, and service standards are maintained

Inventory & Billing



Monitor stock levels, fast/slow-moving products, and replenishment Coordinate stock audits, inward/outward entries, and shrinkage control Oversee billing, cash handling, POS operations, and daily sales reconciliation

Reporting & Coordination



Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and MIS Coordinate with head office, vendors, and service labs Support promotional activities and new product launches

Skills & Requirements



Graduate in any discipline

Good English & Tamil communication

3-6 years of experience in optical retail or premium/luxury retail

Strong knowledge of eyewear frames, lenses, coatings, and brands Proven experience in team handling and showroom operations Excellent customer handling and communication skills Proficiency in POS systems, billing software, and MS Office Sales-driven mindset with attention to detail
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
