Application Laboratory
While developing new ingredients and cosmetic applications, we also offer a range of other

Working closely together
Through Academy Sessions, our laboratory studies are presented both to the IMCD Team and
our customers. This allows us to update and continuously improve our technical capabilities,
while sharing new innovative studies with our customers. Purpose of Job
Drive sales of speciality chemicals within personal care portfolio in South Region in India and
expand its customer base
Main tasks and responsibilities
 Achieve monthly sales targets, annual budget numbers and gross margin targets
 Preparing monthly rolling forecast for efficient inventory management
 Educate/ provide guidance to customers on possible product applications
 Co-ordination with principals/ suppliers for organizing customer events, review meetings and
reports
 Work closely with technical services lab for customer projects
 Providing market intelligence and insights on potential business opportunities
 Liaising with Customer Service Representative for sales orders and dispatch details
 Supporting payment collection and co-ordinating with customers and accounts receivable
team
 Expanding the portfolio with existing customers and generating new customer base
 Visiting existing and potential customers on a timely basis across the applicable geographical
scope
 Submitting timely reports w.r.t sales, customer visits and complying with the existing CRM
 Co-ordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints Key Attributes
 Ability to drive aggressive growth through sales for the business unit
 Proven track record in sales of speciality chemicals to Personal Care with a techno-
commercial acumen.
 Strong working knowledge of Personal Care industry, preferably having worked in the sales
function for a ‘Personal Care’ supplier and/ or a distributor network
 Conversant with categories like hair care, skin care, bath & shower and colour cosmetics
 Team player with sound verbal/ written communication skills and a customer centric mindset
 Ambitious, self-motivated, results driven and well-organized individual seeking a long-term
association with the organization Key Stakeholders
 External: Customers, Principals, Suppliers
 Internal: Customer Service Representative, Warehouse Team, Accounts Receivable team,
Technical Services Lab, Sampling Team Reporting Structure
 Role Reports to: Director – Beauty & Personal Care
 Positions that report into this role: None Essential Qualifications
 Full time graduate degree in Cosmetology, MBA preferred
 Working knowledge of sales related CRM tools
 Conversant with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Essential Experience
 5 - 8 years of relevant sales experience in personal care sector
