We are looking for a compassionate and committed

Assistant Manager - Human Resources

who believes that great teams build great schools. This role is perfect for someone with strong recruitment experience and a working knowledge of HR compliance and payroll, who also understands the critical role of people in nurturing young minds.

Key Responsibilities:



Talent Acquisition (Core focus - 3+ years):



Lead the end-to-end hiring process for teaching and non-teaching roles across centres. Partner with Centre Heads and Academic Leads to understand staffing needs and build robust pipelines. Create a positive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding. Use innovative sourcing strategies to attract passionate educators and support staff.

HR Compliance & Payroll (Minimum 1 year):



Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and early years regulatory requirements (PF, ESIC, gratuity, maternity leave, etc.). Support monthly payroll processes by validating attendance, leaves, and statutory deductions. Maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation for audit readiness.

People Support & Culture:



Be a go-to person for employee queries related to benefits, leaves, and policies. Support employee engagement initiatives across centres. Help implement HR best practices that foster a safe, inclusive, and values-driven workplace.

What We're Looking For:



A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus. 4+ years of total HR experience, including

3 years in recruitment

and

1 year in payroll & compliance

. Familiarity with HR practices in the education or service sector is an advantage. Strong knowledge of Indian employment laws and payroll basics. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a natural empathy for people.
