Major Responsibilities

General1. Responsible for the day to day key processes in his/her area of work2. Executing the day to day operational requirements3. Assumes training responsibilities when required; demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role model4. Conducts all scheduled training sessions and do the random checks for staff to test their knowledge5. Actively offers operational, employee and customer (internal and external) related feedback to management6. Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with employees and internal customers7. Maintain the data of all employees and responsible to keep them confidential and in a secure manner8. Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times; Walks the talk9. Actively participates in briefings and meetings10. Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment11. Performs any additional duties as assignedDepartmental 1) Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants2) All estate staff welfare and statutory concerned will be handled3) Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits4) Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others5) Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes6) Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements7) Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives8) Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems9) Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations10) Analyze training needs to design employee development, language training and health and safety programs11) Communicating with people outside the organization, representing to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.12) Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files, assisting in liaison procedures and processing paperwork13) Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates14) Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices15) Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training, or labour relations activities of an organization16) Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination17) Investigate and report on industrial accidents for insurance carriers18) Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations19) Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.20) Negotiate bargaining agreements and help interpret labour contracts21) Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs22) Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time23) Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems24) Prepare and follow budgets for personnel operations25) Study legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry standards26) Develop and/or administer special projects in areas such as pay equity, savings bond programs, day-care, and employee awards27) Contract with vendors to provide employee services, such as food service, transportation, or relocation serviceReports toGeneral ManagerJob Type: Full-timeSalary: ?45,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per monthBenefits:
