Manager in fund accounting team at Empower India is to ensure that to review cash, Asset and trade reconciliation. Responsible to supervise the reconciliation Team. Ensures all areas follow regulations and policies and is responsible for the operations including customization and implementation of operational and departmental procedures. Manage daily operation of department, analyze results, adjust and improve as needed. Coordinate required systems changes with systems staff and/or vendors. Ensure all areas follow SEC, FINRA, IRS, Department of Labor, Departmental and Corporate regulations and policies. Setting up control to pertains to break review and certification DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: List specific action statements to describe the fundamental duties and responsibilities that encompass the majority of the job. List in order of impact to the company which may or may not be the same as the amount of time required to complete the listed duty/responsibility. Ensures issues are being resolved and clients/partners are kept apprised of progress ensuring highest level of client service and satisfaction. Would act as subject matter expert of the process as the role demands trouble shooting and floor support for the team Should proactively identify client needs and potential internal issues impacting client satisfaction Assists with review, controls, and audits as appropriate Exercise discretion and judgment with respect to matters of significance such as resolving queries, reporting of issues/escalated transactions Exceptional training abilities with hands on experience in designing and reviewing SOPs, training plan and assessments etc. Eye to details documentation. Monitor deliverables by tracking activity, handling escalate related issues, publishing progress reports and dashboards and recommend actions Analyze and manage the loopholes in the process and put necessary control. Effectively & efficiently enter the returns into the Returns Spreadsheet for Fund Reporting & Performance, Certification and also QC peer\'s work. Driving high satisfaction, quality, and efficiency for clients Delivering superior results quickly and efficiently, utilizing effective time management skills. Drives innovation through collaboration with clients and business processes (Process Standardization) Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to Manager Shift Timing: 1:30 AM to 10:30 PM IST - Monday to Friday. TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION (Level & Type of Degree if applicable) REGISTRATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSING REQUIRED: OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Accounting is a must 6 to 8 years of experience of different FI (like Equities, Bonds and Mutual Funds) and fund accounting/Valuation experience is a must Pricing Vendor knowledge i.e. Bloomberg, IDC, Eikon, etc will be preferred Pro-actively identifies Risk, make recommendations and able to take decisions. Capacity to work cross-functionally to create efficiencies and develop solutions to business problems Knowledge of Capital Market and Investment Banking Industry preferred (particularly asset classes like Equities and Mutual Funds, Industry security identifiers, Pricing, corporate actions, and stock market) Understands the effect of recon on MV of the fund Good Understanding on cash and position break resolutions Eye to detail oriented candidature with strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills Must be deadline oriented ensuring issues are being resolved and clients are kept apprised of progress ensuring highest level of client service and satisfaction Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs Should have good oral and written communication skills as the role demands extensive partner communication via calls and emails Accountability: Demonstrates reliability by taking necessary actions to ensure issues are resolved swiftly Global Collaboration: Applies global perspective when working within the Team and reach out to relevant stakeholders to avoid any delay in resolving queries Communication: Articulates information clearly and presents information effectively and confidently when working with others Time Management: Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.
