POSITION SUMMARY AND PURPOSE



We are looking to recruit a Asst. Manager - Export Sales with FMCG industry background for our head office at Kollam Location on an immediate basis.

JOB OVERVIEW

: The Asst.Manager Export Sales is responsible for driving the company's export sales growth by managing and expanding the international customer base, improving sales processes, and ensuring compliance with global trade regulations. The role involves strategic planning, business development, and overseeing export logistics to meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop Export Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales plans and strategies for target international markets. Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategies to capture them. Set sales targets for international markets and ensure that sales objectives are met. Manage Export Operations: Coordinate with production, logistics, and other internal departments to ensure timely delivery of export orders. Oversee the preparation of export documentation (invoices, shipping documents, customs declarations, etc.) and ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations. Resolve logistical issues, negotiate shipping terms, and manage export processes. Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key international clients and distributors. Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets. Conduct market research and analysis to understand consumer demand, trends, and competitive landscape in target regions. Sales Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and sales terms with foreign customers. Establish pricing strategies, considering currency fluctuations, taxes, duties, and shipping costs. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations, including trade agreements, tariffs, and cust oms procedures. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of export sales and prepare regular reports for senior management. Track export trends, sales data, and feedback from customers to continuously improve processes. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Implement CRM strategies for managing key customer accounts in international markets. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service.

Skills and Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in export or international markets. Proven experience in export sales or international business, with a solid track record of driving sales growth in global markets. Strong understanding of international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs procedures. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of global market trends, currency fluctuations, and international trade agreements. Ability to travel internationally as required.
