Safety in Lab related activities: . Ensure the work practices and systems within the various projects/operations are consistent with all policy and procedures (safety, environment and health) and statutory requirements by planning and monitoring activities. Implementation of CSM and other guideline released time to time related to Health& Safety. Chemical Analysis To carry out chemical analysis of iron ore and other associated minerals and determine chemical parameters as per the requirement of the customers with desired accuracy/ precision. Ensure required turnaround time of chemical analysis and reporting as per set guidelines /norms. To support quality assurance activities of the Laboratory Ensure compliance to the requirements of NABL accreditation Should be capable to work as Technical/ Quality Manager, if required, as per requirements of ISO 17025:2017 and ensure compliance. Ensure compliance of operational standards/ SOPs/ PWIs during chemical analysis. Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment/ instruments used in the Laboratory. Training & Development and compliance to statutory requirements related to NRD: . Compliance to Statutory, environmental issues related to Lab activities. Skills Should be conversant with gravimetric and instrumental methods of chemical analysis particularly ICP-OES (operation and maintenance) . Should be conversant with requirements for ISO 17025:2017 (and subsequent versions) for NABL accreditation . Should have thorough knowledge about determination of error, bias and counter to minimize those. . Certified internal auditor and trained in uncertainty measurement by NABL accredited institutions are preferable Zero tolerance towards safety Team player. Hard working & learning attitude in field. Ability to collaborate with different kinds of people, getting work done not only by authority. Drive for results.
