Job Description

- Assistant HR Manager



Job Purpose:



The Assistant HR Manager supports the HR Manager in overseeing day-to-day HR operations, implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, recruitment, training, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role acts as a bridge between employees and management, fostering a positive work culture.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:



1. Recruitment & Onboarding:



Assist in workforce planning and manpower requirements. Manage end-to-end recruitment process: job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection. Oversee employee onboarding and induction programs.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement:



Address employee queries and grievances effectively. Support HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention. Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, welfare measures, and events.

3. HR Operations & Administration:



Maintain and update employee records, HRMS, and attendance systems. Ensure timely payroll coordination with finance. Handle employee confirmations, transfers, and exit formalities.

4. Performance Management:



Support implementation of performance appraisal systems. Assist in tracking employee performance and maintaining appraisal records. Coordinate with managers to address performance-related concerns.

5. Training & Development:



Identify training needs through performance reviews and feedback. Coordinate internal and external training programs. Maintain training records and assess effectiveness.

6. Compliance & Policy Implementation:



Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and HR regulations. Assist in drafting/updating HR policies and procedures. Handle statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).

Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of HR functions and labor laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability. Proficient in MS Office and HR software (HRMS). Organizational and time-management skills.

Qualification & Experience:



Bachelor's / Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 3-6 years of experience in HR, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory/assistant manager role. Experience in [manufacturing/service/IT/other industry - customize as per company
