Education and Experience: Having 5 to 6 years of experience teaching in a school or working with an Educational Publisher. Should be an MA in English with experience in editing and content writing. Strong Writing and Editing Skills: Should have a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style, as well as the ability to write creative, engaging, clear, and concise content. A deep understanding of editorial processes, standards and SEO familiarity. Should be skilled in proofreading and fact-checking and familiar with different writing styles with an eye for detail. Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and management skills are essential. Should be able to provide guidance, delegate tasks, and motivate the team to meet deadlines and achieve highquality work in the absence of the Editor-in-Chief. Communication and Collaboration: Should possess an effective communication skill. Should be able to clearly convey instructions, provide feedback, and work collaboratively with writers, editors, and other team members. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure are also important. Knowledge of Industry Trends: Staying up-to-date with current trends, developments, and emerging practices in the publishing industry is valuable.
