We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Power Sales and Regulatory Liaison Specialist. This role will primarily involve liaising with various stakeholders such as DISCOM, MSEDCL, SLDC, and other nodal offices, with a strong focus on identifying potential buyers for power sales. The ideal candidate should have a technical background, a good understanding of renewable energy projects, and expertise in regulatory matters related to power sale agreements, along with proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1)
Power Sale Transactions
: Understand and manage third-party/captive use power sale processes.
2)
Regulatory Expertise
: Stay informed and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory matters governing power sales.
3)
Liaison with Key Authorities
: Engage with DISCOM/MSEDCL/SLDC and other nodal offices for necessary permissions, approvals, and coordination.
4)
Identifying Potential Buyers
: Assess and identify potential buyers for power sale requirements, ensuring optimal sales strategies.
5)
Green Open Access Policy
: Demonstrate knowledge of the Green Open Access policy and contribute to its implementation in power sales.
6)
Renewable Energy Certifications
: Basic knowledge of Renewable Energy Certificates (REC), Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Generation-Based Incentives (GBI), and Financial & Settlement (F&S).
7)
Technical Knowledge
: Have a strong technical understanding of renewable power projects, their operations, and sales strategies.
8)
Communication Skills
: Exhibit strong and fluent communication skills to effectively convey information across teams and stakeholders.
9)
Contractual Agreements
: Understand and interpret various agreements such as O&M Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and other contracts related to power sales.
10)
Coordination Skills
: Facilitate seamless coordination between the site team, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines and requirements are met.
11)
SAP Knowledge
: Basic understanding of the SAP system for managing Work Orders (WO), Purchase Orders (PO), Service Receipt Notes (SRN), and related tasks.
12)
Data Management and Reporting
: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and other documentation.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Experience: 10-13 Years
