Role Description: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address challenges within the (re)insurance domain. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Python and PowerBI are essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
Key Accountabilities & Deliverables
xc2xb7 Evaluate client workflows and implement improvement solutions.
xc2xb7 Analyze data and present reports using Python and PowerBI.
xc2xb7 Conduct detailed business/client analysis to outline problems, opportunities, and solutions.
xc2xb7 Present findings to stakeholders, emphasizing results and business impacts.
xc2xb7 Utilize cat modelling for account and portfolio analysis.
xc2xb7 Identify gaps in products/models and prioritize functionalities.
xc2xb7 Document project decisions and processes.
xc2xb7 Propose product/process enhancements.
xc2xb7 Manage communications independently with clients and internal teams.
Requirements:
xc2xb7 B.E / B. Tech (preferably Civil/Mechanical Engineering) from IIT/NIT or other reputed universities
OR
xc2xb7 MBA Finance/Insurance/Operations Research or masters in mathematics/ Statistics/Operations Research/Economics from top-tier universities.
xc2xb7 7+ years experience in risk/ business/ data analytics for P&C insurance, reinsurance, or insurance linked securities as business analyst or advisory role
xc2xb7 Extensive understanding of the (re)insurance industry. Knowledge of RMS or other vendor models is beneficial.
xc2xb7 Proven project management experience.
Preferred Skills:
xc2xb7 Knowledge of R, Python and Power BI
xc2xb7 Skilled in incorporating third-party APIs into workflows
xc2xb7 Cat models/ Policy admin systems/ Exposure Management tools
xc2xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
xc2xb7 Strong database and data mining skills
xc2xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication.
xc2xb7 Collaborative and stakeholder management
