The Assistant Category Business Manager - Billing is responsible for supporting retail billing operations, ensuring accuracy in transactions, compliance with company policies and statutory requirements, and smooth coordination with store teams. The role focuses on efficient billing processes, system handling, and customer satisfaction at the store level.
Key Responsibilities
Handle billing for sales, returns, and exchanges using POS/billing systems.
Ensure accurate application of pricing, discounts, schemes, and offers.
Generate GST-compliant invoices as per company and statutory guidelines.
Resolve basic billing discrepancies and system-related issues.
Store Coordination
Support billing executives and store staff during daily operations.
Coordinate with store management to ensure smooth checkout flow.
Assist in managing billing activities during peak business hours.
Compliance & Reporting
Follow company billing SOPs and internal control procedures.
Maintain billing records and documentation for audits.
Prepare and submit basic daily and monthly billing reports.
Customer Support
Address customer billing-related queries professionally.
Ensure a smooth and efficient billing experience for customers.
Qualification
Graduate (Degree in any discipline mandatory)
Experience
0-1 year of experience in retail billing or system-based roles
Fresh graduates with strong system knowledge may be considered
