The Assistant Bakery Chef supports the Head Bakery Chef in daily bakery operations including preparation, baking, decoration, and presentation of bakery products. The role ensures high standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency while contributing creativity and efficiency in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing, baking, and decorating bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, desserts, and other baked goods.
Support in developing new recipes and menu items under the guidance of the Head Bakery Chef.
Ensure all bakery products meet the required taste, texture, and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery area as per HACCP/food safety standards.
Monitor inventory, assist in stock rotation, and report requirements to the Head Bakery Chef.
Operate and maintain baking equipment and tools responsibly.
Train, guide, and supervise junior staff or apprentices in baking techniques when required.
Follow cost control measures and avoid wastage of raw materials.
Assist in special events, festivals, and customized bakery orders.
Adhere to company policies, food safety regulations, and occupational health standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Bakery & Confectionery / Culinary Arts (preferred).
2-4 years of relevant experience in a bakery, hotel, or pastry shop.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and dessert presentation.
Creativity with a passion for innovation in bakery products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
